Reefer Freight,
On Temperature

Refrigerated 53-foot trailers for produce, food and frozen goods that can't break temperature — cross-border and domestic, held on set temperature from dock to dock, year-round through the winter. Reliable transportation, exceptional service since 2003.

Reefer is how temperature-sensitive freight moves without the cold chain breaking. Your produce, dairy, frozen or other perishable load rides in a refrigerated 53-foot trailer held at a set temperature from pickup to delivery — with the same cross-border paperwork, dispatch contact and tracking as any Sidhu Motors load.

How Reefer
Is Priced

A reefer quote comes down to a handful of honest variables. You get one number per load — no surprise line items at delivery.

  • Temperature & commodity — the set point and what you're hauling (fresh, chilled or frozen).
  • Weight & space — a full 53′ load or a temperature-controlled partial.
  • Lane — origin, destination and the border crossing used.
  • Reefer fuel — the unit burns fuel to hold temperature the whole way.
  • Season & accessorials — peak produce season, liftgate or appointment, if needed.

Built for cross-border

Every reefer load gets ACE (US) and ACI (Canada) eManifests filed before the truck reaches the booth, with paperwork coordinated directly with your broker. Trailers are pre-cooled to your set point before loading and held on temperature dock to dock.

Primary lanes: BC ↔ Alberta ↔ Washington ↔ Oregon. Scheduled service to California, Idaho, Montana, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

REEFER,
ANSWERED

What shippers ask before their first reefer load — what we haul, winter service, pricing and timing. Anything else, call dispatch.

What is reefer freight?

Reefer (refrigerated) freight is temperature-sensitive cargo moved in a refrigerated trailer that holds a set temperature from pickup to delivery — keeping the cold chain intact for produce, food, frozen goods and other perishable loads.

What can you haul in a reefer?

Fresh produce, dairy, beverages, frozen goods and other temperature-sensitive food and consumer freight. Tell us the commodity and required temperature and we'll confirm the load is a fit before you book.

Do you run reefer freight in winter?

Yes — 12 months a year. A reefer unit both cools and heats, so in winter it protects freight from freezing just as it keeps loads cold in summer. Service runs year-round through the season.

How is reefer freight priced?

Rates are driven by the lane, the temperature and commodity, weight and space (full load or partial), reefer fuel to hold temperature, season, and any accessorials. You get one quoted number per load — no surprises at delivery.

How long does cross-border reefer take?

Our core BC and Alberta lanes to Washington and Oregon run next-day; scheduled lanes to California, Idaho, Montana and the Prairies run 2 to 3 days. We commit to a transit time when you book.
