FULL TRUCKLOAD CROSS-BORDER · BC & ALBERTA ↔ US WEST COAST

Your Freight,
the Whole Trailer

A dedicated 53-foot trailer, door to door, with no extra stops and the least handling possible. Dry van or reefer, customs coordinated — the direct, fastest way to move volume across the border. Asset fleet, owned and driven by us since 2003.

Full truckload means the trailer is yours. One shipment, one trailer, picked up and delivered direct — no consolidation, no extra stops, no other freight touching yours. It's the fastest, cleanest way to move a full or near-full load.

When Full Truckload
Is the Right Call

  • You fill half a trailer or more — beyond ~6 pallets, a dedicated trailer is usually better value than LTL.
  • The freight is fragile or high-value — sole-load means the least handling and the lowest risk.
  • It's time-critical — direct transit with no consolidation is the fastest door-to-door option.
  • It needs temperature control — a dedicated reefer holds the load at temperature the whole way.
  • You want security & chain of custody — one load, one driver, one set of doors sealed at pickup.

Shipping just a few pallets? LTL may be cheaper — and we run both.

FTL,
ANSWERED

What shippers ask before booking a full truckload — capacity, speed and when it beats LTL. Anything else, call dispatch.

What is FTL shipping?

FTL (full truckload) means your shipment takes the whole 53-foot trailer, door to door, with no extra stops or consolidation. It is the fastest option with the least handling — ideal for volume, fragile, time-critical or high-value freight.

When should I use full truckload instead of LTL?

Choose FTL when you fill roughly half a trailer or more, or when freight is fragile, urgent, high-value or temperature-sensitive and you want it untouched and direct. For a few pallets with flexible timing, LTL is usually cheaper.

How many pallets fit a 53-foot trailer?

A 53-foot dry van holds about 26 standard pallet positions and up to roughly 45,000 lbs of payload, depending on weight distribution and freight class.

Is full truckload faster than LTL?

Usually, yes. FTL runs direct from pickup to delivery with no consolidation stops, so on our core BC and Alberta lanes to Washington and Oregon it moves next-day.
